Jimmie Lynette Meador , 74 years, of Midland, Texas.
Jimmie was born in Lubbock, Texas on February 24, 1941 and passed on to her final reward on March 26, 2015 at Midland Memorial Hospital after a valiant fight with a short illness.
Jimmie graduated from Lubbock High School in 1959. She married Danny Meador on November 14, 1959 and they moved to Midland, Texas. They lived in Midland for their married life of fifty-six years. They had two sons the oldest of which preceded Jimmie in death in July of 2012.

Jimmie graduated from Lubbock High School in 1959. She married Danny Meador on November 14, 1959 and they moved to Midland, Texas. They lived in Midland for their married life of fifty-six years. They had two sons the oldest of which preceded Jimmie in death in July of 2012.
Jimmie worked at many different jobs as a secretary. The one she loved most was for Attorney John Hyde, who later became a district judge. Jimmie's major interest was her family. Her interests outside the home included her primary interest which was her church, Alamo Baptist, where she was very active, Pink Ladies at Midland Memorial Hospital, and The Crisis intervention Department of Midland County Sheriff. Jimmie was preceded in death by both of her parents and eldest son.
Jimmie is survived by her spouse, Danny Meador; her youngest son, Chris Meador of Midland, Texas; her sister Pam Smith of Conroe, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews as well as many many special close friends.
The memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Gary Redwine officiating.
The family of Jimmie Meador thanks all the members of Alamo Baptist Church and the Midland County Sheriff's Office with a special thank you to the people of the Civil and Warrants Department.
